SLT e-Job Planning Tool
This tool allows services to capture the detail of what the unique speech and language therapy role encompasses. It helps teams to communicate this clearly to stakeholders and helps plan the requirements of staffing. I have seen that the results of the tool have had an enormous direct impact on the wellbeing of staff who are in a profession where their demands are often not understood by others.

SLT e-Job Planning Tool
A straightforward method of job planning for SLTs, the SLT e-Job Planning Tool allows individual SLTs and SLT services to easily record all aspects of each clinician's role. This includes direct and indirect clinical work as well as supporting professional activities such as teaching others, attending ward rounds, meeting with SENCOs, undertaking audits, service development etc. It then automatically calculates the predicted contacts for the year ahead enabling the service to accurately forward plan and identify any discrepancies between demand and capacity.

The tool is free of charge and consists of a spreadsheet and manual. These are copyrighted to ensure they are not amended without permission. To access them you will need to sign the end user license agreement which commits you to observing the copyright conditions. A full training package of videos are available to support the use and implementation of the SLT e-Job Planning Tool.
